RT CENTRAL OHIO REBRANDS AS MODCON LIVING

Newly Designed Website Launched

Columbus, Ohio – March 1, 2019 – Nonprofit RT Central Ohio today announced its new name, Modcon Living, along with the launch of a newly designed website at www.ModconLiving.org.

The Modcon Living name is inspired by the British phrase “mod con” meaning to modify, or to add to one’s ease of living and comfort.   

“Modcon Living perfectly expresses the evolution of our mission and our continued dedication to serving Central Ohio homeowners with services that help sustain homes and neighborhoods,” said Julie Smith, Executive Director. “The new website has been designed with our community in mind, complete with seamless online forms and applications, community impact reports, and social channel integration.”  

“This is a major milestone for us,” Smith continued. “Though our programs, location, and phone number remain the same, our new brand identity and website uniquely support our organizational vision.”

Following a successful rollout in 2018, Modcon Living’s social enterprise, Mod Squad was recently selected to participate in Philanthropitch Columbus scheduled March 4. 

Mod Squad provides Central Ohio homeowners with a one-stop shop for local, reliable, affordable handyman services. And, every Mod Squad project funds home repairs for low-income senior and disabled homeowners through Modcon Living’s Safe at Home program. To learn more, visit www.ModconLiving.org.
